On behalf of the Capstone Engineering Society and The University of Alabama College of Engineering, thank you for sponsoring last year’s Annual CES Golf Tournament. This year’s event will take place at the beautiful Old Overton Country Club course on October 16, 2023. We hope you will partner with us again to make this year’s event a success. All proceeds generated from the tournament support the Capstone Engineering Society Endowed Scholarship Fund. Since 2007, the CES scholarship has awarded more than $1,128,936 to UA engineering students. Last year, the tournament raised a record-breaking $66,000 and we aim to exceed that figure in October.
Through the generosity of our alumni, donors, supporters and friends, the Capstone Engineering Society has supported the efforts and work of the University of Alabama College of Engineering by providing crucial student scholarships and discretionary funds for immediate use. Our students rely on the programs and support the CES provides. The tournament is a fantastic celebration of comradery, engineering and of course, golf, but the life-shaping difference it has in the lives of our students makes it even more gratifying.
